About Academy

The Amman Chamber of Commerce Training Academy was established in 2001, specializing in providing training programs, consulting services, and entrepreneurial support aimed at developing knowledge and enhancing skills necessary for achieving sustainable development. The academy offers its training services to the members of the general assembly of the Amman Chamber of Commerce, their employees, and the local community.
The academy is the main development arm of the Chamber in the field of human resource development, playing a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and skills of the members of the general body and providing them with the practical and scientific knowledge required to meet the demands of the labor market.
The academy is committed to designing and offering specialized training programs that align with the latest developments in both local and global markets, thus enhancing the ability of Jordanian companies and institutions to compete and innovate. The academy strives to direct its efforts towards building the capacities of the commercial and service sectors through collaboration with local and international experts and adopting the best training practices.
In this context, the academy has trained more than 10,000 traders and participants over the last five years, implemented over 600 specialized training programs, and held more than 100 free workshops in which over 6,000 traders and participants took part.
The academy's activities have not stopped there; it has signed a wide range of important agreements with several universities, most notably:
-
Princess Sumaya University for Technology
-
German-Jordanian University
Additionally, the academy has established cooperation bridges with active local institutions, implementing specialized training programs in collaboration with:
-
Income and Sales Tax Department
-
Income and Sales Tax Experts Association
-
Customs Training Department
The spark of leadership was ignited through the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Crown Prince Foundation, which framed the concept of entrepreneurial work, along with a group of success partners, such as:
-
Jordanian Foundation for Economic Projects Development (JEDCO)
-
National Fund for Supporting Institutions / NAFES
-
ICDL (International Computer Driving License) Company
-
Jordanian Academy of Maritime Studies
In 2025, the academy developed its training plan to keep pace with technological advancements, incorporating artificial intelligence into its training programs, especially in the fields of data analysis and decision-making. It also opened a specialized department for modern languages, focusing on training the members of the general body in three main languages: English, Chinese, and Turkish.
The Amman Chamber of Commerce Training Academy takes pride in obtaining a range of international ISO certifications, reflecting its commitment to quality and excellence standards. Among the most prominent certifications are ISO 9001 for Quality Management Systems, ISO 31000 for Risk Management, and ISO 10001 for Customer Satisfaction Charter.
In line with its future aspirations, the academy aims to transform into a specialized university in the fields of trade, entrepreneurship, and vocational training, similar to leading global models. The academy draws inspiration from the experience of the Eskisehir Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences in Turkey, which was established in 1958 and later became Anadolu University in 1982. Today, it is one of the largest universities in the world, with 12 colleges, including 3 operating through distance learning, as well as advanced research institutes and centers.
This ambitious vision reflects the academy's belief in its central role in developing human capital and its commitment to being an advanced training platform that contributes to serving the national economy and enhancing the competitiveness of the Jordanian commercial sector at both the local and international levels.
